Sound Issue

Hi, my name is Cody and i'm looking for some helpn to fix my sound on my computer. There is some sort of problem with the sound. I can play songs on iTunes or i can hear songs in computer games but when i go on internet explorer, there is absolutely no sound. I can't hear songs, videos, NOTHING. There is also no start up sound when i start up windows. I've tried running trouble shooters, and other stuff. I've got a dell dimension 8400 with SB Audigy 2 ZS [C8C0]. I've got McAfee Security. I'm not sure what other hardware i have. If you need anything else, you'll have to tell me how to get it.

kill the thred, i fixed the problem...no thanks to this forum
