Angry How Annoying Can Pc Speekers Be...?

Ok Here I Go With Yet Another Moan About My Inadacunce To Keep My P.C Running Smoothly...( I Promise Someday I Will...!!) But Now I Have This Annoying Sound From The P.C Speeker When Eva I Adjust My Computers Volume I Have Muted The P.C Speeker Within The Audio Control's But I Still Seem To Get This Sound Anybody Any Advice For Me....?

Please Stop This Ringing In My Ears...!! :-(

ac 97 sound sucks. You can try reinstalling the drivers or you may find updated drivers. Buy a decent sound card and disable ac97 in bios.

I don't mean to sound as if I am passing you off, but have you tried Emachines Support? Looks like E-mail support is free. If you have a service plan through your place of purchase, give them a call too. Beeboy is absolutely right, as long as you use the onboard sound, you will be running on luck. there are several good cards to choose from, my current favorite is a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz, with the old standby being a soundblaster live! 5.1, which you can find in several places for around $30 US.

Just pull the side of your case, and pull that little bugger right out.

(Just unplug the PC Speaker, you don't have to drastic measures like me )
