Hi, I am having the same problem, can you please help me solving it. How did did you fix wireless issue. I have also reinstalled OS and downloaded all the drivers for my gateway MX3225 but it is not detecting wireless. I do see the ((o)) light near mouse pad but do not see any wireless icon in task bar or option in network connections. Any help will be greatly appriciated.

I just corrected the same problem. It seems that at least my MX6450 uses a BCM94318E (broadcom) chipset for the network controller. I did a google search and downloaded the driver BCM94318E.rar and after unrar'ing the files pointed the windows driver install to the unrar'ed files and tada it worked my internal wireless network hardware is functioning again!

Hope this helps!
