Desktop Icon on Quick Launch Bar

Service Pack One
HP 760n PC - Pentium 4

Hi. I had to do a non-desctructive recovery on my PC recently. I used to have an ICON on my Quick Launch bar that would minimize all open windows and take me to the desktop.

Now, when I click on the desktop icon, the PC opens another window with all my desktop icons (unarranged).

Any ideas on how to make it go directly to my desktop.

It's driving me crazy!

Never tried it, so post back and tell if it works. Download this small file and run it. Delete the bad icon you have, or rename it. Hope this Helps.

Bob - You beat me to it. I found this link and I was just about to post it.

It gives directions on how to restore the desktop icon to the quick launch tool bar.
