Some web pages disply, others do not

I can get to foxnews.com, gmail.com (though some pictures don't disply), I can get to this site... I cannot get to java.com, craigslist.com, pogo.com, adobe.com..

SOme sites I can get to but an unable to download anything or go farther than the first page. When I type in the java url I get a google page come up as if I searched for it.

I have called comcast and they did all their trouble shootting.

I pinged the sites and the ones I can't get to, get a timed out message.

I have released and renewed my ip address.

I have shut downand restarted my computer mutliple times.

Help me?

I cannot figure out what on earth is going on and I haven't installed anything.

Please tell me you don't read foxnews ARRRR Ok all jokes aside what browser do you use?
Have you changed any settings in the browser you are using? Have you installed a new firewall or security software recently?

Have you tried using another web browser? There is many to choose from. The 2 i would choose is either Firefox (my fav, i use it all the time) Or Opera another great browser.

Try a diff browser tell us what happened.
