I had similar problem, drivers I downloaded, pc said, that they do not match with my video controller (or something like that), so I turned off my PC, opened the cover and took out the video card. I cleaned the contacts, and put it back, turned on PC. Then WinXP showed found new hardware pop up (not wizard), XP did something and then VGA started to work hope this helps!

Get Everest, copy and paste the Computer / Summary section

Open Everest - expand Computer - select Summary - select Report - Quick Report - HTML . The report opens, using mouse hold the left button and starting at all above Debug-PCI - highlight all the text - when highlighted right lick mouse - select Copy.
