Text behind lower tool bar in XP

HI,

I have an issue with the pop-up descriptions forthe lower right toolbar on lower right corner of the screen. I am running Windows Professional in classic view.

When you place your mouse pointer over the icons, the textbox pops-up but it is behind the lower border and you can just make out the top of it and cannot see the text.

An thoughts?

If I understand you correctly, the 'ToolTips' are appearing half-hidden behind the Taskbar instead of being in front of it?

If so, this is a long-standing 'bug' which Microsoft never got round to fixing, but there is a third-party fix here (and it works 'cos I've used it):
