Errorsmart disconnected my wireless card.

First of all, I am completely computer naive so i don't understand the language most of you use so please be patient.
I downloaded Errorsmart and ran a system scan that was supposed to correct 600 errors they found. What they did was screw up my Netgear wirelless connection and I cannot connect to the internet. I have windows XP on a Toshiba satellite laptop and have a netgear wireless card installed. I am using a wireless router installed by our cable company. Both the laptop and my pc in my office that I am using now connect through this setup. Only the laptop is down and it happened immediately after the system scan. Do you think I could just undo every thing I did with the system and uninstall the errorsmart software program or could I do that thing where I set the computer back to a past date?

Get rid of error smart! You can try and run a system restore. If not you may need to reinstall your wireless driver. Try the system restore first and let us know if it worked.

System restore didn't work.

I tried the system restore and it still doesn't work. It tells me there is no IP address asigned. The guy from Errorsmart just emailed me to said the IP address is not valid and I should reboot the router. That doesn't make sense as the router is working fine on this pc. He also said I should look up the address on this pc and assign something similar to the laptop. But, he didn't tell me where to find the information and how to do it.
