Rename Windows System Folder??

I have Windows XP and I have been trying to rename one of the Windows System Folder but cant do it. I have also looked around everywhere for answers and I believe you cant. So I was wondering if I upgraded to a different XP version or changed to Vistas, would I solve this problem? And if I could, how would I go about doin this? Would I have to erase everything and download a new version? And if so, how do I erase everything?

The computer was given to me by my friend and its got his sisters name on one of the System Folders. So now its basically (C:\Documents and Settings\His Sisters Name\.....) Get the picture? I mean its okay I guess but it just looks wierd with her name on it. Plus I was thinken about upgrading or changing the Windows anyways.

You can't.
You create an account in your own name and delete the ones you don't want.

But I read that if you delete it, it can corrupt your computer. Can I rename it if I buy a different Windows and delete XP off my computer?

Create a new account in your name and then you can delete the old account, all files and folders in the old accont will be lost.
