My pc suddenly don't have any sound. Hope you can kindly help me.

Set a System Restore Point before installing drivers just in case
Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore / select Create a restore point and follow instructions

I've formatted my harddrive and reinstalled xp professional. I do not have a motherboard cd. Can you plz advice me how I can get sound card drivers for my pc.

not giving motherboard Get Everest, copy and paste the Computer / Summary section

Open Everest - expand Computer - select Summary - select Report - Quick Report - HTML . The report opens, using mouse hold the left button and starting at all above Debug-PCI - highlight all the text - when highlighted right click mouse - select Copy.

I think I know which driver you need, but to be sure what make and model do you have, look over the tower for a sticker that should give the information, it's still not giving the motherboard
