boot sequence f1:boot

I screwed around with my boot sequence on my hp dc500 series comp.
I am running windows XP. Even when I set my hard drive (C) as the first boot, and I save, the F1:boot still comes up and I have to press it in order to boot up. Any idea's on what I did wrong and how to correct this.

Wrong answer. That relates to the floppy, or any other boot device that causes a boot sequence halt. You would normally disable the floppy controller rather than set the stop on no fault option.

You must have set the option to "show the boot menu" at startup, siuhrebel.
It should be worded something like that.
