Two different RUNDLL errors

When working on two XP Professional computers I got the following errors:

One one:

RunDLL Error The specified module could not be located
C:\winnt\system32\gixtxsim.dll

The other was the same except the file was:

C:\winnt\system32\mokdhhsp.dll

I can't find a thing about either of these. These computers have Norton Antivirus 10. Scans found a bunch of viruses that were deleted. Never running into this kind of problem I tried using the XP disc to run a repair, and also tried sfc /scannow. Neither worked.


Any help would be appreciated!

This is not a solution but help to find the problem:

I couldn't find anything about them either.

C:\winnt\system32\gixtxsim.dll
C:\winnt\system32\mokdhhsp.dll

Do the error pop up randomly of when you launch an application ?
Is there anything on start up program that calls these to dlls?

Do you have any specialty software for your specific use (i.e free ware software for some sort of drawing programs)

A unrelated question: How come you have Windows XP installed under, "Winnt" directory, is that a Windows XP upgrade from 2000?

Aha. I ran hijackthis and found those two files. Right after them they had the word "forkonce". Not entirely sure what this meant, but I got rid of them and the problems stopped. Sorry to bother you all, but thanks for the quick response.
