HELP - Windows XP won't start!!

Windows XP won't start!!

When you start-up, a BSOD comes up and tells you that it hasn't booted properly.

"Last Known Good Configuaration" just follows the same pattern.

When you go onto "Safe Mode" and perform "System Restore" it happens again!

Looking at lots of websites, we reckon we have a driver problem, but when we run SIGVERIF it tells us that all drivers are signed so we have no idea where to go from there!!

Occasionally, it decides to run a disk-check but still will not boot!!!

We've deleted as many unecessary programs in Safe Mode as possible (Some can't be un-installed in Safe Mode) and can't really think of anything else to do!

We'd obviously like to sort this out ourselves, and avoid having to send the PC off and pay lots of money!!

We are soooooo close to just chucking our PC out of the window, and need some MAJOR help!!

Unable to boot to desktop normally!!!

hi jammy,

I understand from your previous log that you are unable to boot to desktop normally.

This issue may happen if any hardware or software might corrupted or not working as expected.

Please try to perform hardware clean boot:

In this case , I suggest that you perform a hardware clean boot!

Select start > Run > and type in Run dialog box

devmgmt.msc

press ok.

In the device manager window please disable the all the hardware drivers and restart.

Disable all Video drivers, all network drivers, all printer and sm bus drivers.

disable the bluetooth and printer scanner driver.

After disabling all the drivers restart the computer.

I am sure performing this u will able to boot to desktop.

After booting to desktop try to enble drivers one by one and restart after enabling each drivers.

By tat you will able to fix which driver is causing the problem.

Uninstall the problem driver and download and install the orginal driver.

Performing this steps, it should work.

Regards,

Renjith.
