Angry Registered Name and Path Names

I hope I can explain myself good enough for my problem! I believe that when I installed XP a couple of years ago, I registered the name as mine and my husband's (ex: Brandy & Joe). But now I am divorced!! LOL. And I want his name removed from EVERY file name and path and whatever in this computer. And I'm still seeing C:\Documents and Settings\Brandy & Joe\ .......
Is there a way, without having to just do a fresh install of XP, to wipe his name from EVERY PLACE on my computer!!!! I just want every path to have my name in it.... I went through the registry and tried to replace it all, but it's still there!!!!!!

Just change the name in "User accounts" in control panel to whatever you want?

Something I never yet had to do, so I'll guess.

Create a new account called Brandy and take ownership of the old account?
You could delete it but it may contain settings specific to what was installed from that account.
Or log on as Admin and wipe out the old account completely.
