Plug and Play - Camera

I have Windows XP Home Edition on a Dell PC.

When I attach the camera via the USB socket I want windows to automatically open up the transfer pictures window etc.

This works on my PC at work on a friends Laptop, the former has windows Pro.

Yet I can not get it to open up on my PC at home.

I have tried properties on the removeable drive and auto play etc
this is really bugging me.

Can anyone help.

Cheers
