Computer Restarts after IE 6 Patches

We recently updated all our computers with the current IE 6 Patches and now we have found that a few of them are restarting while users are browsing in IE. The computers that have experience this are running XP and are Dell Optiplex 520s and 740s.

Has anyone else experienced this? Let me know if you need more information.

Is the option to autoreboot ticked? If yes, unticking it might give a clue.

Do you not use windows server update services?

One other thing. You checked for the Blaster worm etc?

When you talk about the autoreboot, are you talking about the option in the Recovery section?

No, we do not use windows server update services.

We have ran virus, spyware, and adware programs and nothing major was found.

Yes the recovery option.
What about a test application of SP3 to one affected machine?

We have tried the SP3 and it didn't seem to help.

We are going to try the recovery option. I am thinking maybe it is something to do with when users go to websites that have a lot of flash programed.
