WINDOWS XP:LOGONUIBOOTRANDOMISER: creates an error message when my pc starts up???
LOGONUIBOOTRANDOMISER: creates an error message when my pc starts up???
I downloaded logonuibootrandomiser and its great, i first got loads of boot screens which worked fine and still do.
I started to have problems when i downloaded some logon screens. What happens is the logon screen appears then xp desktop loads up, i the n get a message from boot organiser message is :
**************************************************
***********************
"seems that file c:'path to logonuibootrandomiser\temp\"name of the downloaded login screen" isnt a real boot file. set it anyway. (YES / NO)
click.NO=error screen disapears and i can continue with session normally
click.YES=version of file C:'path to logonuibootrandomiser\temp\"name of the downloaded login screen" is 6.0.2600
Must be 5.1.2600. (OK)
click.OK=I cant verify the version of the same path
So , Icant find the position of progress bar.Default Will be used. (OK)
click.OK=Ooooops .....error updating kernel file.Try the next one? (YES / NO)
click.YES=error screen disapears and i can continue with session normally
click.NO=error screen disapears and i can continue with session normally
**************************************************
**************************
So what i have done is moved al;l the zip login files so that logonuibootrandomiser cand find em and i dont get any error messages when i start up?
I am guessing that whewn windows starts up it chucks the next boot style and login style into the temp folder and whatever is in there will be what you see next time.
I have tried just having 1 login screen but i still get the error message regarding that screen
Any ideas anyone
