Boot up problem

i have 2 os on my computer. One of my OS is having problems booting up.Whenever i try clicking on the name to boot into the desktop, it will go into my desktop but within split seconds, it goes back to the place where i have to click my name to boot up.Can anyone help me?

I have read you posting but I'm not sure what to make of it..May be it's the pills I'm taking for the flu caused this

Let me understand it correctly. You have 2 OS on your PC, when you select one of the two on the boot menu, it will kick you back to the boot menu within few second ! is that correct?

How about your other OS, can your PC boot into the other one?
