It is something like this =>0x77f517e2 referenced memory at 0x75fa1d96. The memory cannot be written.

Press ok to terminal and cancel to debug.

Problem may be in CMOS

Hi, I have had this problem for weeks, and tried every suggestion from various boards to no avail.

Have upgraded my video card, still same error, added extra memory, still no use.

I have only been using XP for a few months, never had any problem until last week, had to think back to my older os's to try and solve this problem.

Here's what I did, seems that the automatic upgrades from MicroSoft were not updating properly, so I switched of the auto, next closed down my PC, opened up and the pulled the CMOS jumper, so as to clean it out to factory settings, (not just using the default in the bios, this does not clean out any static in the CMOS) anyway now when I tested my pc again the problem was gone.

I am no means an expert, it worked for me, maybe it will work for you, all my pc configs and Progs are still intackt.

If you do this don't forget to reset your time and date in the bios.

I have decided not to use MicroSofts auto update, as I think a lot of problems arise just there, will do the updates manually in future.

Hope this works for you

that gets listed as some users i know do.I read the details and decide.

I can't stop SP3 but pass on it after reading it's details.
Note : i recommend not useing driver updates for your hardware.
Get it from them. eg: HPackard.
Messed up my Video real bad.

Haveabeer, my video was messed up too, kept cosing down when in the middle of work, so I had these 2 problems at the same time, the CMOS trick solved the problem, as you say MS upgrades are not safe as you never know what you are getting, be advised ALL! get your hardware drivers direct from the makers.
