Hi Robbie,
Many thanks for this information. My brother recently purchased this PC and was finding Vista was really sluggish on it, so he asked me to install his old Windows XP instead. The missing drivers were giving me a headache, until I came across your post.
Although I'm wondering if you have come across the same problem I have. It seems that some images display blurry and/or at poor quality. Even the default XP wallpaper appears as such. Other images have faint horizontal lines or some JPGs look like they have been saved at a poor quality (although under Vista they didn't and I checked on my own laptop and they are okay too so it's not the image itself).
Seems to happen under all resolutions I've tried (800x600, 1024x768, 1152x864) with both 32 bit and 16 bit color. I tried messing with the Nividia settings, but no luck. Am using a CRT monitor though (Samsung SyncMaster 753D) rather than LCD, so not sure if that makes a difference.
Even if you know of a utility that might help fix this kind of issue it would be much appreciated. I did do a search through Google for solutions and possible causes and could only come up with info on such usually being caused by an incompatible driver.
Even if you can't help, I do thank you for providing these downloads though, as at least it's better than the default VGA driver that XP installed! That and there is sound now!
