Windows Keeps Restarting!!!
My friend accidentally shut down windows during a update installation and now everytime i start up my computer, it just restarts at boot up. What could be the prob?

stick your hard drive in someone elses pc, boot off their hard drive, transfer all the stuff you want from your hdd to his or to cd then....

format and reinstall windows

I would try booting to the CD before I took my HD out. Just a thought.

Go to Help menu and use System Restore to restore PC to a time before this problem occured.
