Desktop Icon Background >_<
My XP just decided to bug me and put background colors on myicons. I cant turn it back to transparent no matter what I do (properties > appearance or desktop)..

Any tips? thanks..

My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Under Performance > Choose "Adjust for best appearance" > Apply.

Great..thanks a lot!

And next problem.
I cant adjust my resolution. Its stuck in 800 x 600. Some guy on another message board told me its some kind of problem with my graphics card..but I doubt cause when I was with WIN98, I can adjust it to 1024. Um..help please?

You need to install drivers for your graphics card.
