missing video controller (VGA compatible)

Hi guys,

I've searched through the forum over and over and have found many different solutions to the missing video driver problem. . . it doesn't tell me where I could get any more information from as it has a giant yellow mark over it in Device manager. . and "unknown" next to manufacturer. Here are my computer's details:

Set a System Restore Point before installing drivers just in case
Start instructions / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore / select Create a Restore point and follow

missing PCI and video controller

Hello, i have a similar problem, my pci device and video controller aren't recognised, i have no sound and it's grey'd out/missing on taskbar =/
i'm assuming i'm missing the drivers since i recently formatted and reinstalled.
i've had this before but this time i just can't seem to find the right driver, please help, here's my specs:
