ipod Nano not being charged and none of the buttons are functioning

I have a new ipod Nano and it was working perfectly fine till today... today as usual i attached it to my computer n wanted to put in new songs but without me doing anything my ipod is stuck..!i thought it was due to the hold button but that is switched off...now i cant do nything with the ipod..its simply stuck..none of the buttons are functioning and when i attatch it to my comp its not being read, as in its not being charged...!what do i do?????

Return it back to where you got it from and have them replace / repair it.
