Another Sound Problem. I think it will be easy to fix.
I have a Windows XP on emachines and am having a problem with my sound.
Before I was having a problem with the Multimedia Audio Controller but then I downloaded the driver for it on the emachines website and Now it says its fine.
However my sound still won't play. It appears to be playing atleast now but there is no sound still. I am very confused now because under my sound and audio devices in the control panel it says I am using a "VIA audio[wave]" Now and I am pretty sure from what I remember that that wasn't what I had before my sound wasn't working. Which also is wierd because I'm sure I downloaded the right driver. Please help
