No HI-SPEED USB host controllers installed on PC

Hi everyone!

I tried to use a USB on my laptop and it says "No HI-SPEED USB host controllers installed on this computer". I really don't know what it means. Please help me to resolve this issue. I am very grateful for any help or tip.

Does the usb work? Your lappy might not be compatible with high speed usb.
