I Have bad Computer Virus--Please Help!!

Hi, I found this site after searching for "Can't Turn on Task Manager" and realized I have a (probably bad) virus.

As requested by others, I ran Hijack This and here is FIRST HALF OF my log. I guess the log is too long to post in one thread. 2nd half to follow.

Go to Malwarebytes.org, download the latest verion (anti-malware version 1.20). Install it and run it at least twice with quick scan, and one with full scan of all drives. Don't forget to delete the infected files found by malwarebytes. RESTART the PC. Download CCleaner, run it (everyone should run this utility at least once a week). Download Easy Cleaner, install and run the registry cleaner after you have wiped all the bugs in your system. Also, uninstall spybot because it obviously not working. You got a lots of processes running at the same time that is probably why you can't open up task manager easily. Uninstall what you don't need and run the registry cleaner again.

Thanks for your help, Gone Fishing. I did all the stuff you suggested and also installed Super AntiSpy, which was recommended by others.

It took several reboots and anti-spy programs, plus AVG, but as of now the virus seems completely removed from my PC.

I hope it lasts, but either way, thanks for helping me solve the problem.

I'm glad it worked. Don't run multiple anti-virus, anti-spy/adwares at the same time as they would cause your system to bogg down. Pick the best one to keep and only install/use multiple applications when you got a problem that the currently installed ones didn't help. BTW, run HJT again and post the log.

I did uninstall Spy Bot, Lavasoft and a few other programs so that I am only using 1 anti-spyware (Super Anti-Spy) and 1 anti-virus (AVG). One question: can I keep the anti-malware program you suggested (by Malwarebyte) or is that considered just another anit-spyware program?
