CD Copying

I'm told that if you copy mp3 music or films from the net, the recordable cd wont necessarily play on your normal car stereo/ cd hi fi/ dvd player because most recoradble cds are incompatable with those systems. (The copied cds work back ok on the pc windows media 9). If this is correct is there a way of converting the copied version to play on any device? Is there some software that can be downloaded? Ive been told music match might work?

thanks for your help

if you download music from the net like from KaZaZ Lite they will paly fine in your home dvd aslong as your dvd can play CD-R, CD-RW, VCD, SVCD, so on, you see most modern DVD players can play all these just check your DVD manuel it will tell you what they can play, they play great on my DVD palyer and on my home stereo systems and in the car.

so you will be fine to play music you download in home music stereos so on and in the car.

use Nero or Easy CD Creator to download the music disc although i download music to disc from WMP9 like you and they work fine for me on other things.

when you copy music with windows media player 9 make sure you don't have it were it gives you the option to copy protect the cd you are making.

I download music from Kazaa, when ever I want copy music to CD so it can work with my normal stereo CD in my car. I go to Kazaa My Share Folder pick which songs I like them and how many songs can fit with CD size. I hold Ctrl key to pick all those songs then I right click all highlight songs "Copy to CD".Windows Media Player open I click Copy to CD or Device then click Copy Music . The Windows Media Player will convert and copy to CD.
Hope it work for you.
