Can I edit my music downloads ???

I've recently been downloading some music off Kazaa and burning it to cd using Acoustica .
If the files are too large ( over 80 mins ) is there any way I can chop them down in size so that I can get them to fit on a cd ??

Any help would be really appreciated !!!!
