Internet Explorer will not open for five minutes
When I first start up the computer, and I logon at the welcome screen, everything is normal. Then, normally, i click on the internet explorer shourcut, and nothing happens. I can hear a little noise from the processor, and the busy light flickers on and off very briefly. I have checked task manager and CPU usage is 1 or 2 percent. Then after about 5 mins, CPU usage spikes to 100% and internet explorer starts up. WHat is interesting is that I can start any other program instantly, just not internet explorer. After the intial 5 min wait, if i click on it again it works normally, I have SP1 and drivers and all. Please help!
Thanks.
