the computer is not mine and was loaded with vista orginally but toshiba's configuration on the laptop is way underpowered to use vista properly..

Just wondering if the is a proper order the drivers should be installed or if there is a confliced between the audio and some other driver ie the chipset drivers or graphic card....

any help would be greatly apreciated

go here to Toshiba http://209.167.114.38/support/Download/ln_byModel.asp

A100 PSAANC-03605C

1st install the Chipset - then Restart comp

2nd if needed the Display driver

3rd the Sound Driver

the driver from realtek has the M$ UAA which is needed for High Definition audio, it's here http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&GetDown=false

Set a System Restore Point before installing EACH drivers just in case
Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore / select Create a restore point and follow instructions
