Lost email, Netscape 7.2. Have back up. Where do I find the files hidden at?

I guess the title says it all. Crashed the computer trying to back up on an external HD (computer locked up, had to reset). I have reloaded C from my back up discs from one week ago, but did not get the email back. Where do I find it? I know it's hidden deep in a file, but not sure why it didn't load back with the back up. Help before my wife kills me. Jim.

Netscape is a web browser Jim, not an Email client.

Are you using a web-based email client (program) such as Hotmail or Yahoo or something? If your emails are stored there, they should still be there. You can still log in and view your emails once your browser is up and running again. They're only stored on your computer if you use an email client on your local computer, such as Outlook, which downloads emails for local storage (and faster viewing).
