Mount disc with volume data

Hi all, im new so bear with me.

I have a CD with images on it my friend sent me but i cannot open anything on it. When i select one, it gives an error message saying

"Media-span(Mount Disk)
Please mount the disc with the following volume label in any drive and press the OK button once the drive is ready.

Volume label: tmp00112

[ ] Map Disc Volume

[ ] = [ ]"

Also when you press cancel to this it says:

"Cannot open file.
tmp00112:\tmp0000\pic00\00112.jpg"

So i think it requires me naming my C drive or CD drive to the volume label name by clicking on the map disc volume checkbox and entering the old and new drive names in the 2 boxes. Im not going to do this without asking cause it seems extreme :s

All help appreciated.

If it's asking you to mount it. Then you might need some 3rd party software, ie. Magic ISO, Powere ISO etc to mount the image.

i always just figured that my friend had a wierd setup when he burned it. its not an .iso file but ill try your suggestion with something though i thought mouting ISO files just meant loading in the same way as a normal CD, and not in this manner of opening single files.

Just tried MagicISO and Daemon tools, really dont think its something to do with an iso.

To give a more accurate description of the error (described from work).

http://img54.imageshack.us/img54/1408/93176594ba1.jpg

aswell as the
"Cannot open file.
tnrp00112:\tnrp0000\pic00\00112.jpg"

Anything? some of the images have different volume labels (like tnrp00113 tnrp00114. Im really lost on it :x

I've had a look round, it seems like things, i.e. pictures etc, are uploaded via a USB stick and transferred to the CD. Because the USB is no longer attached to your PC, then that may be the reason you can't view things whilst trying to open up the CD?

It's worth a try, but ask your friend if this is how he's put the pictures on to the Pc.

It might be looking for an external source, i.e. the USB stick
