I've got fuijitsu siemens S series lifebook, it even has "designed for windows xp" sticker but it won't boot. If i try to install windows it say's that i don't have hard drive plugged in. I installed ubuntu and hard drive was all fine. I read that problem is in hard drive drivers. It told me to put floppy with drivers installed on to my floppy drive while i install windows. I don't have floppy drive and i don't think that problem is in my hard drive drivers.
Hi, in your bios you need to select your hard drive as the second boot device (cd first) so find your M/B manual or if you have lost it ect. download one from the manufacture.
