Blue Screen on fresh XP install

Hello all. I've recently reformatted my hard drive because I was using Xp pro 64-bit and wanted to re-partition my drive so I could dual-boot 64 and 32 bit respectively. I botched that attempt and was lead to reformat. Now, when I try to re-install Windows (i've tried xp pro 64, xp pro 32, and xp home 32) I get the blue screen of death after the initial restart when the progress bar has been loaded for about 10 seconds. I've tried with the hard drive I reformatted, I bought a new hard drive, and it stopped at the same spot with the same message too. IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and the tech code is the same every time as well. 0x0000000A (0x00000010, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0x80523E78). I've reset bios to default, brought my ram from four 1 gig sticks to one 1 gig stick, and have run both ram tests and cpu tests from a start up disk. I've done many reformats before, but I've never seen this happen. I've searched online quite extensively for the problem code i have, followed all steps I have found, but I'm still getting that BSoD. Please help.

My specs are: Intel DX38BT extreme series motherboard, Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 (2.4ghz, 8mb L2 cache, 1066 MHz FSB), GeForce 8800GTX video card, 3x Lightscribe DVD recorders, and 4x G.Skill F3-8500CL7D-2GBNQ (DDR3-1066 1GB 1.5v)

I assume you've come across this article during your searches:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314063

Everything points towards a hardware issue of some kind. Follow the tips in the article (if you haven't already), and then what I would do, is take it down to the bare bones, just hard drive, 1 cdrom and 1 stick of ram and then try to install. Assuming it works, then start adding your other hardware piece by piece.
