Active Desktop HTML File

Today while i was in yahoo chat, i think someone threw a boot code or something in the room, well my screen went black. After about a dozen times of trying to reboot, it finally did go back to working, so i thought, Now i keep getting this error everytime i try to use the the web... ( Active Desktop HTML File cannot be found )...So now i cant go nowhere on the web, can someone help with this problem.

Sounds like you picked up a nasty. Can you access an online virus scan or run your own scanner to check?
