Error can not find program code - appears on startup

Getting the error - can not find program code every time i log on to XP. I've tried search the startup menu using msconfig but no luck so far.

Any advice greatly appreciated,

when you get this message are you still able to laod upto windows and use the computer?

if so then a good idea is to go to run type "msconfig" without quotes then goto start up an disable one programme reboot and keep doing this till you have found the message not appearing anymore you wil then ahve your culprit all you have to do then is fix the programme that you will know is the problem.

alot of times this can be caused by bad uninstalls. this can leave entries in your registry that try to call the program that is no longer there, and windows feels the need to tell you about it. try using a registry cleaner and look for entries to programs you know are gone.
