computer woun't install windows xp

i have vista and pirated copy of windows xp, when i format the partion and copy all xp fiels it reboots like normal, but then after rebooting it stops at black screen and "_" flashes at the top left courner, i gues that means i don't have any operating system on computer, but how to go pass that screen?
now i instaled this coppy of windows on my dad's computer and it woked just fine, it's just mine woun't do it plzz help.

Come on , I don't believe you it doesn't work . You have a pirated copy of XP . It should work , maybe its your PC the problem not the pirated copy. You should call who ever made that PC and give them hell because you can't get XP to install .

Buy a full retail copy and clean install that like we all do.

Pirated copies of XP are notorious for bundling malware.
