Sons games on his screen change my settings

I have windows XP home on a Compaq Presario SR1230NX. It has an AMD 3200 chip, 1 GB Ram 80 Gig HD. Widows XP Sp3.

I have multiple users set up for login. My son plays games on his screen and when he plays games, Counterstrike, Half-life and others they apparently change his screen settings during the game. The problem is that the also change the screen settings on my screen if I am still logged in but have left my screen with the Switch User option.

All my desktop icons are rearranged and clustered into the top left corner when I return to my screen. I know there was a way in Win 2000 Pro to limit effect of one user on another users screen. I can't find anything like this in Win XP home.

What can I do to lock the settings on my screen or limit each so it can not affect another user.

Hi, This is just a suggestion weither it will work is another question, but u can stop users seeing/ accessing your documents and settings if you enable that then it shouldn't affect your user when your son plays his game weither you are on switched user or actually logged off

like i said its just a suggestion let me know if it worked or not
