i installed it from my mobo cd (intel express installer)... the driver works perfectly in sp1 and sp2 but it is not working with sp3.. the link u gave says that the error may be caused by "incompatible, outdated, or corrupted device drivers" where can i find compatible drivers for sp3 ?? i have tried windows update but its not working...

go here to Intel and install the INF chipset driver - then restart comp
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Deta...nal& lang=eng

then install audio driver from Intel
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Deta...nal& lang=eng

Set a System Restore Point before installing just in case
Start / All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore – click radio button Create a restore point and follow instructions
