How to make a user account not able to access certain programs

im the administrator, XP Home, how can i make a user account, and not let them use programs like Kazaa, or something else?? like at school, you cant open all programs that are on the comp, unless you are a admin....how do they do this?

As far as I know you are unable to do this with Windows XP Home, you need XP Pro, and the MMC snap-in Group Policy.
Or, Local Users and Groups in Computer Management.

The closest thing that might help you is to make a Limited account in Control Panel/User Accounts.

You can make a program prevent from running for other users. To do this make sure that the system has only one use with Administrative rights .

Logon as Administratror and right-click on the exe file you don't want to run for other users. click runas and select the second option and from the drop down list select administrator and give the password. This will make for other users ask pasword when the program is run.
