XP SP1 install problem

I created a bootable XP Pro cd with Service Pack 1 slipstreamed to it.Install completed > the first time I tried to boot into it > I got as far "applying settings" then the computer restarts. No problems with my computer itself > am typing this from W2K Pro > boots from a different hard drive. Any ideas?
