Win Picture and fax problem

When I get an email with a scanned or image attached, and I open it, not only is the attachment visible but images from web pages I have visited are visible if I click on the rt or lft arrows, as if a slide show was activated.

I have deleted temp files. It is picking up unwanted images. I have Windows XP.

No it's not a slide show. A slide show would run automatically without having to use the mouse. They have been saved on your hard disk by your web-browser (temp internet files & browsing history). Using a utility like 'Ccleaner' will remove them all with a single mouse-click, or do this:
Bring each one into view in Picture & Fax Viewer, then click the red 'X' at the bottom (Delete). But Ccleaner is much quicker:
