No Audio Devices. Have Sound!

Ok, this is another one of the cursed Audio Device Threads. I have managed to get a few things done though and now it seems that Windows is the problem maker.... I am still trying other things that I can find but, perhaps my problem may be a bit simpler.

Things I have done/accomplished:
- uninstalled & Reinstalled Realtek mobo sound driver
- uninstalled & Reinstalled Sound Card sound driver and all programs
- Flashed the BIOS and made sure sound is enabled
- Looked for updates for all sound devices in device manager
- After all of that WOW auto-detected sound and started working.
-- Realplayer and Vent cannot auto-detect sound, but if I manually set the sound device it works perfectly.
- All mobo drivers are current

Problems:
- Parport has a yellow exclamation mark. Microsoft support says it wont' affect anything though
- No default sound device and everything in "Sounds and Audio Devices" is greyed out

other info:
- (Dxdiag)Direct music works on my live card but not microsoft synthesizer.
- Custom built computer, no Manufacturer and I have triple checked that everything is compatable

My "soundblaster live" is in an expansion slot, my mobo sound is "realtek". I am using my soundblaster to reduce stress on CPU. My realtek has HD audio while my sound blaster is just normal, I use 2.1 speakers anyways. It uses a PCI slot 2nd from the bottom.

I just found something else out. My sound works but my mic WILL NOT WORK. I went onto vent and it says "There are no active mixer devices avaliable" Hope this helps :P

when i install the driver that u said it appears the word"The driver package only support 64 bit OS"then i clik the ok..the setup is finish to install but in a second pop up the words " Unload DLL fail:v32audio.dll"...

Any idea how to fix this problem? Seeing as I just reformatted it (Old Harddrive was bad) doing it again would just be annoying and pointless

If you have a soundblaster card and the realtek onboard sound you need to enter the system bios and disable onboard sound then remove the realtek sound manager from add remove programs.
The realtek sound manager (newer models) has jack sense and the realtek software just like being in control. If you just use the realtek you pretty much have to use the HD sound effects manager to select mic and use it. Can open it by the icon next to the clock or control panel "Classic view" Realtek HD Sound Effects Manager.
Not sure what version of the soundblaster software you have, still this is like anti virus programs and Highlander movies "There can be only one."
