Outlook Express 6(deleting Emails)

when using "outlook express 6" i go to the DELETED ITEMS section to delete emails and have to individually delete each email. now thats fine but deleting 100 emails 1 at a time is a bit much. Is there a way to delete them all at once??????????.
Im sorry if the answer is obvious but ive tried everything but still 1 by 1 is the only way i can do it.

Have you tried:

Edit > Empty 'Deleted Items' Folder

[The Tool]

1. Press Ctrl + Use mouse to select emails you want to delete then press Delete.

2. Select a email + Press Shift + Up or Down Key then press Delete.

3. Ctrl + A to select all then press Delete.
