Angry Rdp conection problems can conect virtual machines but not the host

Hi,

I have a windows xp professional installed on my computer, inside of it i do have a virtualbox with a windows xp and windows 2003 server, I setup both virtual machines to use a host interface on the virtual network card, so i can conect from another windows vista that i have here localy on both virtual machines, and also can conect to both virtual machines, from my work.

My problem is I can not conect to my windows xp professional, not locally using the windows vista, or from my work.

I think that i did some thing on the local policys that dont let me conect.

The only solution for my problem that i can think of is to reinstall the windows xp professional again, but for that i will have to reinstall every thing i have on it inclusive the virtual machines, i'm using them to test and dont really want to reinstall every thing again.

windows xp machine - 192.168.0.2
windows xp virtualmachine - 192.168.0.3
windows server 2003 virtualmachine - 192.168.0.4
I do have a router with is the gateway 192.168.0.1

so i setup the router to forward the port 3389 for my machines and i can acess the virtual machines, but not the host.

I can ping the virtual machines using the windows vista that is a laptop.
But i can ping my windows xp machine just if i setup on the firewall to reply for echo on the ICMP setings.

the windows xp machine can ping every one on my local network.

All the setings on the firewall are the same on virtual and fisical machines.

I did check my local policys and they are the same aswel.

When you try to connect from work what do you put in the "name" box?
Have you tried to disable the firewall on XP to see if it will connect?

I did use my ip address, and I can conect to the virtual machines that i have inside of my windows xp pro, but not to the host.

1 = windows xp pro - try with and without the firewall no sucess
2 = windows xp pro - virtual machine, runining inside of machine 1 = sucess with and without firewall

I decide to install the windows again, made every thing ready, and on the end could not conect any way.
So i format my drive c: more one time and did not install nothing, just create a acount for my self and put a password on it.
Try and conect straitway.
So i create a new restore point e start to try install the things i have on my computer and found out what made the problem on the first place.
When I install the driver of my graphic card it does some thing and block the rdp.
My graphicard is a Nvidia Geoforce Fx550 and i did use this self-stracted driver.
175.19_geforce_winxp_32bit_english_whql.exe

Is it working now? If not type in the run box:
msconfig
In the startup box remove all references to nVidia.
