Malware Removal - Adware.Shoper, Trojan.Vundo

Hi, i've been having some trouble recently with a computer i was given by a customer. They said it was running "abnormally slowly".
The computers specs are:
Windows XP SP2
AMD ATHLON XP processor @ 2.2ghz
512 mb RAM
PF at 1024mb-1024mb

When i first booted it up, i did normal speed tweaks for xp because it really was slow. It took me about a minute to open the my computer window, but the computer properties told me the processor was running at 2.2ghz and all the ram was there. I then installed Malwarebytes 3.3, and on a scan found several infected registry keys and files. I would post the log, but this computer is running in croatian and is not connected to the internet. The main problems it had were:

Adware.Shoper (Win32.Adware.Shopper)
and Trojan.Vundo (Win32:Trojan.Vundo), a well known Trojan.

I uninstalled SmartShopper, a program which can deliver Trojans and creates a "side-bar", serving you ads based on your search terms, and now i am getting no results for Adware.Shoper. However, i am still having trouble with Vundo. Every time i scan i get the same repeatedly infected files, and i cannot seem to get a deletion of the trojan to stick.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how i can remove Vundo effectively? Thanks.

Hi, create a system restore point. Download super-antipyware, update and run a full scan. If it continues run a scan in safe mode.

Hi,

If you have not yet solved the problem,I suggest to create a system restore point as monty said and then I suggest installing vundofix a program which specialises in removing trojans with the vundo infection.

Scan in normal mode and if it does not work try it in safe mode as monty suggested.
