Turn Off Just Restarts

When I go to "Turn Off" option the computer just restarts. I have to manually shut it off. How can I fix this?

I went to the first link(WSC) and followed the directions to disable the "restart on system failure" feature. Then when I logged off and turned back on, a huge message about a problem being detected appeared. The tech info is
STOP:0x00000050 (0xE2549000,0x00000001,0x80613543,0x00000001.
I panicked, manually shut down comp and restarted again then re-enabled the "restart on system failure" feature. The message isn't appearing, but I'm back to manually turning computer off. I've on had this new comp only 4 weeks. Do I have a lemon maybe?

There are 100 hits at Micrsoft's help site to choose from, many of them hardware related. Since it's under warranty, bring it to the shop. It happens that hardware fails early.
