I just want to know that is there any software or way which alert you if some one power on my computer in my absence i get an SMS on my mobile phone , or something else ?

Hi, not in XP only in a server enviroment. Do you suspect someone is using your PC? Have you secured your PC? Do you use XP pro? If so you can set up aduting via poicys then you can see if someone has logged on to your PC.

Hi, to secure your PC with a password go into control panel>users>select your account and select create a password.
To create a strong password use something that you will not forget but add both number and capitals and dont write it down and leave it somewhere. An example might be your favorite colour:
