Keep in mind that everything I've heard about Lindows says that this is basically a Linux recreation of Windows FOR THE CORPORATE WORLD... it's built to run Office, Excel and other M$ apps as a cheaper alternative to Windows. If you;re wantng to play games and do other, more non-office stuff you may run into issues with Lindows.

The article I read with that info was about 3-4 months old though, so maybe they have expanded the function set for Lindows by now... Does anyone know?

been tracking lindows for almost 2 years now. Looks good, but as the previous poster said, it may have issues with some (if not all) games.

Yeah, there's lots of linked articles on that site. I just generally do Google searches.

I have it, tried it but did not care for it. Had lots of problems with apps that I wanted to run. Mostly games. It is one of the easier Linux based apps to use, but by doing that they made it to much like windows. It has the same problems as far as not working with alot of hardware configs. Forget trying to get it to run on a raid array unless you have mucho experience with linux. I don't and didn't!

if you're interested in something like Lindows I HIGHLY suggest you look into Lycoris instead. It can be downloaded from http://www.linuxiso.org
